Visit Wat Suan Dok, the ex –royal flower garden of Chiang Mai royal family., which was built to
house one from the two pieces of the relics of the Lord Buddha ,then continue to Wat Phra That Doi
Suthep by following the white elephant trail leading us to the holy place where the second piece of the
relic is shrined underneath of the Chedi in the temple located on the top of the hill 3,500 feet above sea
level overlooking Chiang Mai town. |

Day 2. Handicrafts center- Chiangrai –boat trip to Red Karen
Leave Chiangmai for Chiangrai ,on the way visit
Sankamphaeng, the handicrafts making center. Educated
yourselves and enjoy seeing local people making silverware, weaving thai silk ,craving teak wood ,painting the umbrellas and stick gold leaf on the lacqurewares. Lunch at the local restaurant ,then continue to Chiangrai via Wiangpapao .
Arrive Chiangrai , visit Wat Rong Khun , the white temple designed and built by the famous national artist , then start a picturesque and unforgettable boat trip along Mae Kok River to the Red Karen village ( the village of the elephant mahouts ) to observe their way of living. Stay overnight in the hotel in Chiangrai.( Wiang Inn ) |

Day 3. Doi Tung Royal Villa- Maesai – Golden Triangle- boat
trip to Lao-Thaton
Start the moring excursion to visit the highest peak of
Thailand – Myanmar border “ Doi Tung “ to visit Royal Villa and the beautiful garden of the Princess Mother of the King features many unique beautiful scenery as well as the farming and reforestation project area. After that., drive to Mae Sai the border market adjacent to Myanmar. ,to visit the thrilling market and enjoy shopping different products from Myanmar and China. Lunch at the local restaurant . After that, proceed to the famous Golden Triangle where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos meet. Visit the Opium Museum to study the opium legend and the history of the Golden Triangle .
Take a boat trip in the great Mae Khong River with a stop at
Lao checking point to take a rest ,sample cobra whisky,and chit-chat with Lao people. Visit Chiang Saen ,the ruined city of Chiang Rai with a stop at Wat Chedi Luang , then drive to Thaton. Stay overnight in Thaton. ( Thaton River View hotel or
similar ) |

Day 4. Chiangdao elephant camp : elephant riding and
bamboo rafting - Pai .
Early depart Thaton to visit Chiangdao Young Elephant
Training Center to see how trained elephants are used to help in lumber work. Experience jungle taxi : 1 hr. riding on the elephant back to the dense forest under the shade of the green tree. |
Lunch is served at the beautiful restaurant located on the bank of the river. After lunch, take 1 hr.
trip on the bamboo raft in Mae Ping River passing diferent rapids and beautiful scenery along the river. After that, continue driving along the World War II , historical road to Pai passing numerous sharp curves up and down the hill to get impressive of the beautiful mountains and views. .Stay overnight at The resort in Pai. ( Muang Pai Resort ) |

Day 5. Lisu and Lahu Hilltribes – Lod Cave –city and Burmese temples –Maehongson
Breakfast at the resort, and depart the resort for the village of
the colorful Lisu and Lahu hilltribes, then heading to visit one
of the most famous cave of Thailand, “ Lod Cave “ . Ride on a small bamboo raft along a stream into the cave to touch the beauty of the stalactites and stalagmites.

| A further drive to Mae Hong Son and have lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch explore the magnificent Burmese temples “ Wat Phra That Doi Kong Moo “ the most important temple of Mae Hong Son located on the top of the hill with the panoramic view of the city, then drive to Wat Jong Kham and Wat Jong Klang the lake-sided temples located in the center of the city . Stay overnight in the hotel in Mae Hong Son ( Imperail Tara or similar ) |

Day 6 . Boat trip to Long-necked Karen – Fish cave – Chiangmai
Early leave the hotel for the morning market to observe a traditional mode of living of the local Shan people selling foods , vegetables, and their local handicrafts, then drive back to the hotel for breakfast. After that, drive to the boat landing for
a picturesque boat trip through exciting rapid of Pai River to visit the village of the long-necked Karen or Padong to witness the elongated –neck girls wearing numerous brass rings around their necks.

| Take the boat riding back to Mae Hong Son and leave Mae Hong Son for Chiang Mai ,enroute visit fish cave ,where numerous colorful fishes can be seen. Lunch at the local restaurant before a long journey back to Chiangmai |
